About Us

Forall Systems Inc., based in Chicago, has more than 10 years of experience consulting for assessment designers and developing assessment technology for use in K-12 school districts. We specialize in developing sophisticated assessment systems for use in the classroom that are easy for teachers to learn and use. We have worked in various areas including Special Education, English Language Learning and Early Childhood Education. Our offices are located at 1871 in the Merchandise Mart.

Our Leadership

Karen Jeffrey, Ph.D., President

Karen has 25 years of software development and consulting experience. She earned her B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Maryland at College Park and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She was an Assistant Professor and taught in the Software Engineering program at DePaul University before being inspired by the possibilities of the Palm Pilot and founding ForAllSystems. She loves how her work brings together the newest and most exciting aspects of technology and education.

Toby Kavukattu, V.P. & Development Lead

Toby has 12 years of software development, consulting & design experience. He earned his B.S. in Computer Science and his M.S. in Software Engineering from DePaul University. Toby specializes in front & back-end web application development, with expertise in: Python, PHP, Django, JavaScript and HTML5 (including offline support and data synchronization with offline HTML5 databases). Toby is an avid supporter of open source projects and actively contributes to the programming community.
